As noted by Vostok Cable editors, and unusually for a Soviet-era film, The Needle has barely any authority figures on-screen, save for a train conductor to whom Tsoi gives the finger. In Igla (L’ago) di Rashid Nugmanov con Victor Tsoi , che sarebbe morto di lì a poco in un incidente stradale,si sente “Non succederà più" di Claudia Mori .
